WAMS Olympia joined numerous other community organizations at the Lacey Fun Fair on May 17th and 18th this year. The Fair was again held on St. Martin’s University campus. At our table kids of all ages had a chance to learn about rocks that may be found in Washington State, plus spin the wheel to win very cool rocks of all types. Participants included the recently crowned Miss Washington and her partners. Located adjacent to the WAMS Olympia table was Fun with Fossils, run by Daniel and Kristina Kaufmann who shared their enthusiasm for fossils and dinosaurs!
